Project:      Troup County Jail, Lagrange, GA, PLC systems programming

Client:       South Western Communications, Inc.

Project description:

A complete security controls / communication system was installed in a new county jail facility in Lagrange, GA. The facility consisted of a core administrative building and two housing buildings which operated essentially stand-alone. The control system utilized three (3) OMRON C1000H PLC’s (with a combined total of over 2800 hard I/O points) on an OMRON PC-LINK network for door, intercom and lighting control via custom graphic operator interface panels. The PLC’s were integrated via a serial interface to TOA IC-100 intercom system CPU’s for call-in annunciation at the graphic panel. The PLC’s were integrated via a serial interface to a Vicon V1300 CCTV CPU for camera selection by intercom or alarm point.
